Cleaning Tips for your Home

    Every time I go to an event to sell or promote my cleaner I am surprised at how many questions I get on cleaning. Now, I know that many families these days are becoming chemical free and, with the world wide web, it can get confusing to find what actually works. The knowledge and tips that I have are from years of housecleaning and figuring out what works and what doesn’t. You will read a lot about the Norwex cloths that I use. They are Cloths that have silver particles embedded in the fibers that fight germs. I use them with my cleaners, which claim that you don’t need to use cleaning products because they are already antibacterial and antiviral. So many people have said they still want the house to smell fresh and clean which is why I find using my cleaners with the cloths make a great cleaning combo. These are some commons tips based off questions I get from customers.  

1. Showers and Tubs– First I spray my All Purpose Cleaner and let it sit a few minutes to cut through some of the mold and build-up. Second I take out a good scrub brush and some dish soap. This may sound simple and it is the power of these 3 things have always worked wonders and doesn’t leave a film behind like most bathroom cleaners do. For the shower glass doors I use dish soap and scotch bright stainless steel scrubber to get off the water buildup off.

Another amazing tip for moms. or women who are busy, relates to when you take a shower.  You know when you are showering and you put your conditioner in your hair? Well, while your waiting, utilize a cleaning towel or washcloth and wipe down the walls of the shower and the glass door. I know this sounds a bit extreme but you will find your shower will rarely ever get mold or soap build-up just by completing this quick task. Personally, I have Norwex cloths hanging in the shower. Lastly you can Spray my aromatherapy/glass shower spray when your are done and let it air dry.

2. Floors– This can be any type floor but I do get many questions on wood floors and why they become so streaky even when using just vinegar and water. I use this Norwex mop and my aromatherapy/glass cleaner spray. Any mop pad with water will clean as well as a Norwex mop. My spray contains Vodka which works wonderfully on so many types of floors including all wood floors. After moping with Norwex mop I then spray my cleaner lightly over the floor and the Vodka works to dry it up streak free.

3. Windows and Mirrors– As you have read, I concocted a spray that creates a streak free shine for your windows and mirrors. I just spray on the window/mirror and use the Norwex window cloth but lint free paper towels or cloth will work just fine.
